IMAP Accounts (Non-Gmail)
Connect email accounts from Outlook, Yahoo, Zoho, and other providers using IMAP.
Supported Providers
FanDesk includes presets for:

Connecting an IMAP Account
- Go to Settings > Integrations
- Click Add Email Account
- Select your provider (or Custom)
- Enter:
- Email address
- Password (or app password)
- Display name (for sent emails)
- Click Connect
App Passwords
Some providers require app-specific passwords:
Yahoo:
- Go to Account Security
- Generate App Password
- Use that instead of main password
iCloud:
- Go to Apple ID
- App-Specific Passwords
- Generate for FanDesk

Multi-Account View
Switch between accounts:
- Dropdown shows all connected accounts
- Gmail and IMAP accounts together
- Color-coded by provider
- Select which account to send from
Sync Behavior

Custom IMAP Setup
For providers without presets:
- Select "Custom" as provider
- Enter IMAP settings:
- Host: imap.yourprovider.com
- Port: 993 (usually)
- SSL: Enabled (usually)
- Enter SMTP settings:
- Host: smtp.yourprovider.com
- Port: 587 (usually)
- TLS: Enabled (usually)
- Test connection
Troubleshooting
Connection Failed
- Check username/password
- Try app password if available
- Verify IMAP is enabled in provider settings
Emails Not Syncing
- Check account status in Settings
- Try disconnecting and reconnecting
- Verify internet connectivity
Can't Send
- Check SMTP settings
- Some providers block third-party sending
- Try app password
