The Command Palette
The command palette (Ctrl+K) is the fastest way to do anything in FanDesk:
Search Tips
- Drive search — Just start typing a file name
- Navigation — Type section names like "calendar" or "projects"
- Actions — Type "new" to see creation options
Sidebar Navigation
The sidebar can be collapsed to give you more screen space:
- Click the collapse button at the bottom
- Hover over icons to see tooltips
- Click any icon to navigate

- People — Team directory and contacts

Status Indicators
Throughout FanDesk, you'll see status indicators:

Quick Actions
Many items in FanDesk have quick actions on hover:
- Tasks — Mark complete, change status, edit
- Messages — React, reply in thread, pin
- Files — Star, share, download
- Emails — Archive, star, categorize
Mobile Navigation
On smaller screens:
- The sidebar collapses into a hamburger menu
- Tap the menu icon to access navigation
- Swipe gestures work in many areas
