Guest Users
Invite external collaborators with limited access to FanDesk.
What Guests Can Access

Inviting Guests
- Go to Settings > Team (admin only)
- Click Invite Guest
- Enter email address
- Set access duration (e.g., 30 days)
- Send invitation
Guest Restrictions
Guests cannot:
- See all channels (only invited ones)
- Start DMs with anyone
- Access email, calendar, or drive
- See the full team directory
- Create public content
Guest Badge
Guests are marked with a "Guest" badge:
- In team directory
- In chat member lists
- On their profile
Managing Guests
Extend Access
If a guest needs more time:
- Go to guest's profile
- Click Extend Access
- Add more days
Revoke Access
- Go to guest's profile
- Click Revoke Access
- Guest immediately loses access
Guest Expiry
Guests have automatic expiry:
- Set when invited
- Countdown shown in profile
- Access removed at expiry
- Data preserved for audit
