Get notified even when you're not actively using FanDesk.
Browser Notifications
Desktop notifications appear in your system:
- Corner of your screen
- Click to open FanDesk
- Works even when tab isn't active
Enabling
- FanDesk will ask permission
- Click Allow when prompted
- Or enable in Settings > Notifications
Browser Support
Works in:
- Chrome
- Firefox
- Safari
- Edge
What Triggers Push Notifications

Configuring Push
Enable/Disable
- Go to Settings > Notifications
- Toggle Push Notifications
Per-Type Settings
Enable/disable for specific events:
- Push for DMs
- Push for mentions
- Push for task assignments
- Push for thread replies
Quiet Hours
Respect your focus time:
- Default quiet hours: 10 PM - 7 AM
- No notifications during quiet hours
- Customize times in Settings
Troubleshooting
Not Receiving Notifications?
- Check browser permissions
- Ensure notifications enabled in Settings
- Check quiet hours aren't active
- Try refreshing the page
Too Many Notifications?
- Disable channel notifications (noisy)
- Keep only DMs and mentions
- Use quiet hours
