Get notified even when you're not actively using FanDesk.

Browser Notifications

Desktop notifications appear in your system:

• Corner of your screen
• Click to open FanDesk
• Works even when tab isn't active

Enabling

1. FanDesk will ask permission
2. Click Allow when prompted
3. Or enable in Settings > Notifications

Browser Support

Works in:

• Chrome
• Firefox
• Safari
• Edge

What Triggers Push Notifications

Configuring Push

Enable/Disable

1. Go to Settings > Notifications
2. Toggle Push Notifications

Per-Type Settings

Enable/disable for specific events:

• Push for DMs
• Push for mentions
• Push for task assignments
• Push for thread replies

Quiet Hours

Respect your focus time:

• Default quiet hours: 10 PM - 7 AM
• No notifications during quiet hours
• Customize times in Settings

Troubleshooting

Not Receiving Notifications?

1. Check browser permissions
2. Ensure notifications enabled in Settings
3. Check quiet hours aren't active
4. Try refreshing the page

Too Many Notifications?

1. Disable channel notifications (noisy)
2. Keep only DMs and mentions
3. Use quiet hours
