The Home Dashboard is your central hub — a personalized overview of everything that needs your attention.

Overview

When you open FanDesk, the Home Dashboard shows:

1. Quick Links — Fast access to common actions
2. My Tasks — Tasks assigned to you
3. Upcoming Events — Your next calendar events
4. Recent Messages — Latest chat activity
5. Recent Files — Recently modified Drive files

Dashboard Cards

My Tasks Card

Shows your top 5 open tasks with:

• Priority indicators — Color-coded by urgency
  • Red: Urgent
  • Orange: High
  • Yellow: Medium
  • Gray: Low
• Due dates — Shows relative time ("Today", "Tomorrow", "In 3 days")
• Overdue warning — Red text for overdue tasks

Click any task to open it directly.

Upcoming Events Card

Displays your next 5 calendar events from:

• Google Calendar (if connected)
• Native FanDesk events
• Task due dates (appear as all-day events)

Events are color-coded by source:

• Blue: Google Calendar
• Orange: Task due dates
• Red: Native FanDesk events

Recent Messages Card

Shows 5 most recent conversations with:

• Last message preview
• Unread count badge
• Sender's avatar and name
• Time since last activity

Recent Files Card

Your 5 most recently modified Drive files:

• File type icon (docs, sheets, slides, etc.)
• File name
• Account indicator (if you have multiple Google accounts)

Time-Aware Greeting

The dashboard greets you based on time of day:

• "Good morning" (5 AM - 12 PM)
• "Good afternoon" (12 PM - 5 PM)
• "Good evening" (5 PM - 9 PM)
• "Good night" (9 PM - 5 AM)
