In-App Notifications

See all your notifications in one place within FanDesk.

Notification Center

Access your notifications:

1. Click the bell icon in header
2. Or go to Notifications page
3. Or press notification shortcut

Notification Types

Task Notifications

• Task assigned to you
• Mentioned in task
• Task completed
• Task comment added
• Task due soon/overdue

Chat Notifications

• Direct message received
• Mentioned in channel
• Thread reply
• Reaction to your message

Other Notifications

• Page shared with you
• Project invitation
• Calendar event reminder
• Incident assigned

Notification Tabs

Filter notifications by type:

• All — Everything
• Unread — Not yet read
• Mentions — @mentions only
• Tasks — Task-related only

Actions

Mark as Read

• Click notification to mark read and navigate
• Or click the checkmark to mark read without navigating

Mark All Read

• Click Mark All Read at top
• Clears all unread indicators

Delete

• Hover over notification
• Click delete icon
• Permanently removes

Deep Linking

Click any notification to go directly to:

• The message in chat
• The task in projects
• The page in documents
• The event in calendar

Unread Badges

Unread count shows on:

• Bell icon in header
• Browser tab title
• Electron app dock badge
